Purchasing Alcohol

Federal and California state laws require us to request identification from each consumer to prove that you are of age to legally purchase alcohol. To process an order, we need your name, business or other physical address, including street name and name of city or town, email address, telephone number, date of birth and credit card number.

All wine orders must be placed by a person 21 years of age or older. For your protection, verification of age is required at the time of delivery. We recommend use of a business address to facilitate delivery of your purchase. Wine will not be delivered to a visibly intoxicated person. Failure to produce age verification forfeits the right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. In such circumstances, the order may be held in storage at a local depot of the shipping company until appropriate identification is produced, or it may be shipped back to the winery. All associated costs will be the responsibility of and be charged to the customer.

Shipments of Wine

Due to legal restrictions on shipments of wine and other alcoholic beverages, we are not permitted to ship merchandise to the following states: MA, ND, and UT. Tax will be charged for the states where indicated.

Shipping Policy

Knez Winery makes every effort possible to ensure your complete satisfaction.

We will ship your order within 3 business days. For special delivery dates, please call 707.895.3494.

We are not responsible for incorrect addresses. Please make sure that your shipping address and/or your gift recipients’ addresses are 100% accurate. Address correction fees will be charged if assessed by by our shipping partners. Do not enter PO Boxes for shipping purposes – we only deliver to physical addresses.

We require signatures upon ALL delivery of shipments.

Returns Policy

Knez Winery provides a guarantee of customer satisfaction.

If you have an issue concerning the product, please contact us immediately, within two days of receipt of the order. You will need to identify the product purchased, state the date on which it was received, and specify your issue. We will respond to your concerns quickly.

If you wish to proceed with a refund or replacement, we may ask you to pack the product in its original shipping container and return it to us so we can determine how to correct the problem for the next customer. The return shipping is at your expense. Upon receipt of the package, we will refund purchase price or replace your order, which ever you prefer.

When you browse the Knez Winery web site you do so anonymously. Your name, address, phone number, email address and credit card information is needed and used to fill your order, confirm your order, contact you with questions about your order, and from time to time (but not too frequently) send you a follow up mailing or email message. When you place an order with us, your address will be placed on our mailing list, to inform you of future sales. We do not collect personal or business information on Knez Winery visitors unless it is voluntarily provided.

Any personal information you provide to Knez Winery will only be used to notify you of news, events and activities. Knez Winery will hold the information securely and will not disclose it except for this purpose or when required by law. You have the right to inspect and update your details at any time. If you do not wish to hear from us any longer, please contact us.

Knez Winery uses the personal information collected from you in the order process to help us deliver your order, to contact you about your order if we have questions, and to improve our site to serve you better. We may share your information with companies that work with us to provide the product or service you’ve requested or to better understand our customers’ needs, but these companies do not have any rights to use your personal information beyond the services provided to Knez Winery. Will I receive unsolicited e-mail from Knez Winery?

Knez Winery will send e-mail confirmation of all orders to our customers. From time to time we may contact our customers by e-mail about specials or updates to our site.
